Thank ya' guys for the info. I probably should have mentioned that we dry camp every year for 5 to 6 weeks at a time in the Eastern Sierras and that's kinda why I've been thinking about solar panels. We do have a Yamaha 2400 but I would like to run it a lot less. It is really quiet but yet occasionally the campsites will be a little close together and I worry about irritating someone. I always talk to the neighbors about it and have never had a problem, but once in a while I run the batteries down a little too low and it takes a while running the genny to get them charged back up.
