I think you are going to love having solar. It is by far the best upgrade I've done so far.
I'm glad Solarblvd is working out for you and am envious that they are so close. I know I'd have a pair of 250w panels if I didn't have to pay shipping. As it is I'll have to make do with the sad little 230w and 220w panels I have now. Together they are good for up to 30a of charging, I think we will live. ;)
I wanted to add that you should be commended for having a quiet inverter generator and even more for the consideration you have about running it. We have a loud generator but since it never is needed, it's the quietest generator around.
