I would also highly recommend heading further north someday when you have the time, to Cobscook Bay state park. You can reserve sites there and be on the waterfront. It is a bay so the tide empties it and fills it each day. Large, private sites, no hookups. I've sent a picture to your private email of the site I had last September.
