adult only RV Parks California (not Palm Springs area)

Hi,
Looking at a 4 night getaway in the Travel Trailer WITHOUT our 3 kids!! We are in our 40's.
Any such thing as a campground without kids!? or minimal amount of kids!?
ideally within a 4 hour drive of Santa Cruz, CA area? Probably this June...is everywhere crazy busy then!
We like nice views, good food (doesn't have to be high end), maybe a pool or on water if it's really hot, maybe even near a city.... or super quiet getaway, more rustic, with fishing, no TV's blaring, that can be just as annoying as kids haha
Does this exist :)
Thanks!
  • What about the Carmel area. Don't know if there are any adult parks but Carmel is a great area. There is a park called Saddle Mountain Ranch more in the mountains near by with a great pool. Unfortunately there are kids.
  • Go midweek before schools get out...that will largely eliminate the kid problem.

Really outside retirement and neked places, you won't find a lot of kid free campgrounds...especially over summer vacation.

Ok, I'm not near California (live in Connecticut), but...

Wife and I have found that smaller state parks with "rustic" (no hookups, bathrooms are outhouses, many have no dump facilities) camping are fantastic. Usually a lot fewer people, and few children.

This^^^. The closer you are to facilities or towns and attractions the more crowded it will be.

    Check the Internet for parks.
I found listings for Nude Campers, Gay campers ect...
Ought to be listings for No kids.
  • I did search the internet and found a few that have adult only pools, that seems to be the closest bet. not wanting a nude one lol.
