5 days is a long time for altitude sickness to last if you've been drinking a lot of water and resting.
Have you tried driving to a lower elevation? Do you still feel the same? If so, I'd see a doctor.
With the monsoons on us now, Pinetop/Lakeside/Show Low aren't going to be as hot as they were a few weeks ago. If you spend a day in those areas and don't feel like you have, I'd move lower.
Good luck!
I have an internet business and have had to work through it. I also arrived here after 3 days on the road in 100+ temps so I was pretty sleep-deprived and depleted before I even arrived. I'm heading down 1000 feet today to get groceries (and several watermelons) so I'll see how that feels. It seems like the worst of the dread has lifted and I'm able to think a few positive thoughts. Still feel tired though. Might just be having a 3 day weekend ahead to take care of myself that's lifted my spirits.
