Motion Sickness

It takes a lot to make me sea sick. Went out 25 miles with cousins for some deep sea fishing recently. Four to six foot seas took me about three hours to start feeling green, cold and weak. Closed eyes and held T-top. As soon as we got under way, I was fine even though the ride was pounding. That's a miserable feeling. As soon as we got back to calmer water, I cracked a beer and felt great. Weird. Wife gets it in our RV if it's not rock solid with the stabilizers down. Now I know the feeling she's talking about. I feel bad for making light of it.

I have a little loss of balance once and awhile, a little hearing loss and, I have tinnitus but, nothing as bad as what that sounds.

The funny thing is that I was enjoying the movement. Kind of like being rocked to sleep, but after a few hours, the fun was over.

I got sick as a dog during a storm at Bodega Bay. I could hardly walk, and was nauseous. Girlfriend asked me to put down the stabilizers, and I felt better, but not completely. I was really surprised that I felt so bad!

We often park hooked and no stabilizers down and we have had a fair amount of wind rocking.

I cannot say we have had any issues with motion sickness.

I am sure it is no fun if you do.

If we hadn't been preoccupied with white caps in the swimming pool next to our pad we probably would have gotten seasick. We were in Destin last Winter when a major storm came in with lightning, 70+mph winds and rain. Stands were down and a tall motor home was next to us giving a little windbreak.

Yes, it's happened to my wife. She's particularly sensitive and a storm with wind gusts can leave her feeling ill.

Thanks for all the comments. Actually, I was trying to self-diagnose my illness over the weekend. The wind was buffeting my trailer and I had the symptoms of motion sickness. So, I put 2 and 2 together. I wondered if anyone else had this happen to them?

Never got motion sick in a TT before. But, I get it bad !!! Once when I was younger they talked me into getting on a ride at Arnold's Park Amusement Park which is near Okoboji , Ia. After getting off of the ride I had the dry heaves for 6 hours. Never again. Hangovers are not as bad.
