Where is the best and nearest campground to Amelia Island and Fernadina Beach, FL. Tried Fort Clinch State Park but no luck.

If you can get on base in Jacksonville, Fla the RV Park (Pelican Roost) on Mayport Naval Base is an excellent place. We were there a couple of years ago and made Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, St. Augustine, etc.
