And if you're not eligible for the lifetime senior pass quite yet, take heart, you'll be able to "finance" the new $80 one time fee by buying a newly created annual senior pass for $20. Once you've bought 4 annual passes (hang on to them!), you can trade them in for the lifetime pass.
