American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, VA

We had the opportunity to stay here on the occasion of our daughter's college graduation.

Very clean, very well maintained. One of the nicest bath houses ever.

Started out in regular site and moved to Premium site with patio for two add'l nights, well worth it.

Staff are great!
  • College of W&M?

I took a few night courses there when I was in the Navy, stationed in Yorktown.
  • Been there, done that, will do it again! And will recommend it to anyone that asks!
  • Thanks - nice to get some up to date feedback. Decided today to include Williamsburg on our summer trip north.
  • Love that campground! Management went out of it's way to put us in a shady spot in the back. The site should have cost more but the cg was fairly empty and they didn't want this pasty white Yankee melting! Very nice, clean, well maintained campground. A little further out from the attractions but not enough to be an nuisance.
  • This is one of the best campgrounds that we have stayed at. All paved sites. Good location. We have been there several times.
  • We were there a few weekends ago and they were doing major work on the roads. A storm came thru the days before we arrived and when we arrived the roads were in terrible shape. Saturday we went to Bush Gardens and when we returned they had done a nice job working on the roads. Then Sunday as we were leading a paving machine was arriving. Did they actually pave the roads or just some trouble spots?
  • We were there some yrs ago, super clean bathrooms and the place was spotless... we would certainly go there again.
