Exactly. I found it sterile, almost desert like in the lower section where I was. Brand new park. Why was my site not level? Why did they make almost all the sites that had a view of the lake/mountains back in? Perfect for a fiver with a back window but horrible for a motorhome. Why not hookups that allow for either way? I sometimes wonder why campgrounds are designed and built the way they are.

Every rig can park in a back-in.........not ALL rigs can pull in.
Utilities are expensive to install/maintain/repair.

CGs attempt to maximize site usage while minimizing cost.
