It was very nice. It's only electricity at each site, just fyi. Few Michigan State parks have water or sewer on site.
Someone suggested Sterling state park. It's very far away from Ann Arbor and overlooks industrial smokestacks.
Thanks for your suggestions. Brighton State Park really does look nice, but I believe they just have 30 amp and like you said, no FHU. We don't always have to have it all, but we will have our 3 year old granddaughter, so I want some amenities for these few days. Brighton does looks like a place we would like to come back to, that's for sure.
