We rode out there for lunch at the Shrimp Shack a couple of weeks ago, we finished and did ride all the way to the entrance to Fripp Island. It appears that part of the fishing pier is still gone but it was open. The road to the campground was not open but from what I could see looking down as we passed it appeared most of the trees were still on the entrance road. Between the campground and the pier you can still see a lot of downed trees still there which will most likely be left alone for nature to tend to..
I also went by Edisto Island last week, everything there looks fine at the beach front campground. I rode all the way to Ocean Ridge and back down Jungle road, other than some vacant lots where houses USED to be on the beachfront row you would not know there was any damage, they have the place looking good.
