Any other "sensitives" out there? Heavy energy CG's?

Just wondering if there were any areas or campgrounds that either felt really good to you or...not-so-good.

  • Shamrock Trailer Park in Encinitas, CA. The park felt okay but the employees were cold...as...ice. And one night, in the middle of the night, I was awake, rolled over on my stomach then heard a man's voice, with a Spanish/Mexican accent say my name. "JANEifer!" Like he was trying to get my attention. It was like he was 3 feet behind me. Never actually felt every hair on my body stand up on end. Only happened once.

X2 on Bar Harbor KOA. We were planning on a 3 night stay. Got stuck for a week and had to hurry home.:)
  • Almost any NP CG is wonderful.

Worst Ever: Moab Rim RV Park.
  • Absolutely! We are winding down from a two month trip to the Atlantic Provinces. We have stayed in two GC's that I can't really give a bad review because there wasn't anything wrong. I just didn't like the atmosphere, didn't get those good vibrations. We have stayed at others that didn't rate a 10 on paper but were relaxing and felt just right. It's hard to explain. lizzie
  • The best vibes imaginable: McDowell Mountain Park, Maricopa County, AZ friendly campers and staff and a magical setting in the saguaro "forest".
  • Good-Bar Harbor KOA Oceanside, Bar Harbor, ME
    Horrific-Acres of Wildlife, Maine
  • Good- Seven Feathers in Canyonville OR, Colter Bay in Grand Teton Park WY.
Not so Good- KOA in Wildwood FL, Magnolia in Vicksburg MS
