Any ranches out west that have RV accomodations?

about half way to "out west" would be texas where there should be a variety of them. contact the texas tourism bureau and request one of their large booklets that you can get at their welcome centers.

HUMMM? Texas Half way to "out West"? DW proudly hails from Elpaso and takes great pride in being from "Out West" LOL Don't think I could get away with calling her half-west! But I see your point, you are geographically correct.

when I lived in the Kansas City area I thought of Denver as "out west". then I looked at a map, it wasn't even half way to out west. :)

To me the West means Colorado, NM, Wyoming, Montana, and West of there. What defines it for you?

I can vouch for Prude Ranch in TX. Scenic area, nice facilities, historical old fort nearby and the McDonald Observatory is close, too and offers and excellent "Star Party" with a great, brief lecture about the night sky and has several really good telescopes to use. Search the Observatory for more info.

You got it. But to me the Dakotas, OK and TX are out west
