Back in the day, I met various young hippy types who camped on the beach for months at a time in Hawaii. That was in the 80s.
But I think the OP is looking for a non-camping option. Like a timeshare or condo, maybe.
My sister rented an apartment for two weeeks online, walk to the beach. You could do that and try it out. Vrbo.com and the like.
