Most schools are done by the end of May. Weekends will be packed but if you get in on a Tuesday you may have a choice at a spot along the water. June will be real hot but nights do cool down. RV's can only do the west side of the beach as the sand is to deep the further down the beach you go. People will also be camping on top of one another to get beach side access. The one thing that will make or break the trip is the wind. If its windy expect to eat, drink and sleep with sand. It will find its way in your RV. If your in the area I would look at Jacob Lake. High elevation and great boondocking. Other option is the camp ground at Wahweep where you are out of the sand and have AC power but you will not be on the beach.
