Anyone ever go to Burning Man?

Many years ago as we were making our way to Eastern Sierras we passed numerous cars that looked like they got caught in the middle of a pyroclastic flow. We honestly wondered if there had been some sort of natural disaster. We found out later that they were people returning from the first Burning Man. The next year we were invited to attend with friends-but we lived the 60's,that was enough!
