I'm not familiar with that campground, but Winter Haven is a nice location, an easy commute to anywhere else you might want to go. We spent our first snowbird year exploring and making a list of other parks we'd like to stay at. The first year is definitely a learning year and it will take a while to find your groove. Hopefully the second year will be better
