- ACZLExplorerI was once told by a former RV club member to which we were members of that " Figures don't lie, but liars can figure".
- DrewEExplorer IIThey give the sources for the data: John Hopkins University and the New York Department of Health. The map is updated weekly, so things may well (probably will) change around some by the time foliage season peaks. It does make planning in advance quite difficult--both for those traveling into the state and for those in the state desiring to travel elsewhere, since the quarantine requirements naturally also apply to returning residents.

Well scratch that. Our county is in the 400 to 799 column. Which doesn’t make sense cause we currently have 20 positives and population of 100000.
They base it on a per million ratio, which puts the number above what they want.
The website says it's "estimated" cases so it seems somewhat arbitrary. Their state, their rules I guess. - stew47Explorer

It’s pretty easy for us with a population of 100000. Take 20 times 10. I don’t know where they obtain their figures but in our case they are wrong. - CroweExplorer

- DrewEExplorer III don't need to travel to Vermont for the foliage; I'm already here. :B
There are self-quarantine requirements for travelers coming from many areas. See this link for details. If you're from a county in the northeast where the infection rate is sufficiently low, no quarantine is required; there's a map of which counties meet this requirement that's updated weekly. - CroweExplorerYes. See the website below. If are not in a blue-colored county you cannot go. And from what I've read and heard they are checking. I don't know how though.

I cannot go because I live in Hillsborough County, NH. I see no reason to violate their rules as it's for the safety of everyone. - LwiddisExplorer III wish...not this year.
