- path1ExplorerBeing your posting on "public lands, boondocking and dry camping". The BLM land east side of town, near VFW has a few trees. Maybe many have left when warmer weather started. And not a lot to do at that location, and I wouldn't leave RV unattended there. So sorry not very helpful.

I hope that doesn't mean they're opaque.
Do you have the silver reflective material in your windows? - CA_TravelerExplorer IIIThere are plenty of shade trees everywhere in AZ. Shade from a 6' high tree is consider a prime parking spot and everyone is petal to the metal to get one. :B

Another warm day in AZ, be glad it's not hot!
I need to be there next week (for a few days) with temps predicted around 100 degrees.
My AC has a hard time keeping up when my trailer is parked in direct sun, so shade would be a big help. I would like to boondock but would be willing to pay at an RV park if it's under a shade tree.
Thanks,
Given 24 hr gen run time vs utility power I know my choice.
And yes my gen can run everything including all A/Cs 24/7+ but it's my second choice. - 2gypsies1Explorer IIIIf staying on public lands at Yuma there are trees but probably none large enough for you to fit under. You would be parking to the side of one to benefit for the west sun in the afternoon. Evenings and until 9am in the morning it will be pleasant.
As stated above, give some of the silver reflective material from Home Depot or such and cut to fit your windows. Leave two windows without for some cross ventilation and you'll be surprised how cool you can get your RV. - synergyExplorerThanks everyone for your help. I appreciate it.
- nevadanickExplorerThere is a big rv park in Yuma with big trees. I dont know the name but have seen it driving by on the interstate.

You can not see thu but the material just goes in the window temporarily. Once the sun is off the window and/or the temp cools you can pull the it out. This is what I use, http://www.homedepot.com/p/Reflectix-48-in-x-25-ft-Double-Reflective-Insulation-BP48025/100052556
