Ribower - No, I can't tell you about the bike paths. I rode my bike a bit, but it was on the roads looking at the grounds and other RVs. We spent a lot time off sightseeing and visiting friends.
On the special for newbies next winter, I thought it was a good deal, but I can't remember what the cost was, so I don't want to say. Because we were there for only 4 - 5 days each time, we were in the temp area which is next to the one of the fairways. When It would get too dark for the golfers, we'd take the lawn chairs over there and watch the sunsets.
The only negative is an airguard training base and sometimes their flight path is close to the resort. The one strange thing was they don't have any trash facilities. You have to bag your trash, put it out front twice a week and they pick it up. There's good wiFi in the temp area, but in the long term area you have to sign up for your own WiFi or use something like Verizon's MiFi. There are computers (and classes) in the main building. And there's root bear float night....
As I said, we'll go back. While we're not ones to stay someplace for a couple of months, I would like to stay a little longer and make better use of the facilities next time.
