- Got an E-mail from the folks at Palm Creek, We are a No-Go due to our ages.
We are mid 30's/early40's. guess the old folks dont want us Retired Veterans around!!
Gregg - "guess the old folks dont want us Retired Veterans around!!"...their loss. Keep lookin' you'll find a place, tho' it may be difficult...the gray helmets have the market cornered in AZ. That's what I like about Yuma Foothills, no silly rules, other than what the owner of the lot stipulates, and he/she probably couldn't care less how old you or your rig are....as long as you pay on time.

Gemstone - You could always try south Texas. You will be welcomed at most places there.

When a resort is a 55 and older this means you might not want to be around the older folks and the best reason is who wants to be old and have kids around riding the bikes into truck and rv etc.
There are plenty of places to stay so you will find what you want.
chevman- I could understand IF we had kids, I would not want to be around the Gray hats either. Our children have Fur and one never leaves the RV....
- The problem with Palm Creek is it is going to all high end park models and the owners lease the ground plus for the rv's that are left the laundry has been destroyed for a so called 5 star resort. Try to sell a park model after you can't travel. Kinda like a MH, worth nothing for resale.

- We like the park and like the town and have many friends there as most rv'rs do after time goes by plus if I don't get dirty it will be ok.

I have learned a long time ago you will never win with some of these guys.
So lets just keep Palm Creek our little secret .
We will see you there Oct 1st . - X2 on the size of the lots. Our old rig hung over the end of our lot in Apache Junction; our current rig would not fit in that park at all. Many lots are quite small in that area.
