Arkansas Fall Colors
Looking for suggestions for campgrounds, State Parks, etc. for viewing fall colors in Arkansas. All responses appreciated.

Mount Magazine State Park is also very nice with lots of color but it is usually a week or two earlier than the rest of the state. Normal AR peak is around the first of November.
If you really want to hit an unknown spot go to exit 24 off I-40, go north on hwy 215 for 16 miles to Shores Lake. It is a small forest service lake and campground. Paved roads all the way to the campground. They have some sites with electric but you would need to get there in the middle of the week to get one as they are not reservable.
