When do the leaves change colors in the Hot Springs area?

- Thank you...have a trip planned to Lake DeGray Oct 13-20. Plan to go to Hot Springs once or twice....
- We have seen the leaves turn in Colorado, the east coast, and in Arkansas. While the east coast gets all the press, for us Arkansas was every bit as spectacular. The year we did the trip we found them turning the last week of October.

- Seen it as late as the first week in November.
- There are many variables that to into the color change. Moisture levels, temperatures, etc. It varies every year. The color maps start tracking levels in Arkansas this month, but a check shows no changes yet. I'd guess mid to late October would be a good time.
