Did you speak with the owner or the desk person? Most KOAs we've been to will escort you to your via with a yellow golf cart. Seems like moving someone who has trouble walking would be a no brainer.
On edit, I checked this CG on RV Park Reviews and there were several reviewers that mentioned that the owners were rude and didn't care, and KOA corporate said this CG is doing the bare minimum to be a KOA franchise. We use RV Park Reviews almost exclusively to pick places to stay. These reviews would have taken us elsewhere.
