Here in Northern California we are in our third straight year of drought. Hardly any rain or snow this winter. Most of the ski resorts at Lake Tahoe are closed for the season. I have been skiing Tahoe since 1972 and I don't remember the resorts closing in March. Never. Ever. Safe travels.
