Bahia Honda Keys

I've never been, if you look on campsitephotos.com you can see a clear shot of #26. And then a google image search of the campground map shows you where #26 is situated in the park. Perhaps not the most coveted site, but im sure you can have a good time.:D

I'm of the opinion that any site you can get at Bahia Honda is the "key" to happiness. That said, of course their are even better sites there, but good luck landing one of them. I've been there 3 times in my life, and anxious to get back again soon. Have a safe trip

If you got site 26, consider yourself lucky!
Yes it is a water front site.

The only thing I have against it is you are right beside the bridge and you'll be hearing the traffic all night.
All those sites along there are close to the bridge, but you'll be the closest

Guy I thought the same thing when I first got it, but it looks like from all the pictures I've been able to find that it's not a water site. All the others next to it is. Do you know if they cleared it out or something. Thank you in advance. Oh we still feel extremely lucky to have found it open.

Site 26 is NOT waterfront. Site 25 is the last one in the row that is next to the water and next to the bridge.

Site 26 is on the left as you drive on the interior campground road to go UNDER the bridge to get to the cabins and tent sites.

Okay, thanks for the clarification Dennis.

Reserve America map does not properly depict the site locations. The road is drawn straight but it actually has a 90 degree bend in it. The cross over road T's into the loop, the map depicts the loop T'eeing into the crossover road (sorta).

Don't you love it when you can ask a question and someone gives a good answer in only a few hours. Love these forums.
