We stayed at Cherry Hill in August while we visited DC. It was very convenient as the city bus comes right to the campground. No need to drive anywhere. They also offer reasonably priced chartered bus day trips.
The campground is super clean with really nice facilities. Sites are a little wide open for my liking, unless you get towards the back of the campground, but then you're in the middle of all the seasonals. It is close to the highway so road noise is evident. Suited us fine as a hub for a few nights.
If you have pets ask at the front desk for Sandy's number. She will come to your RV and walk the dogs etc. She was excellent.
