I understand your pissed. I have no real answers or solution. I am from Baltimore and am disgusted,embarrassed and angered by the entire chain of events.
Nevertheless it's easy to say the authorities should have controlled the situation.
Riots are not planned. Should they had cancelled the game at noon due to the riot scheduled for tonight. Should they cancel tomorrows game now just to be safe.
As chaos spread the authorities thought it would be safer to just cancel the game and they did. If you think you're upset about missing the game. You would have really been mad if you were caught in the middle of a riot.
As a Baltimorean I apologize for your bad day. There is no excuse for the actions of the rioters. This is a low point for Baltimore that will haunt the region for a long time.
I would rather you be mad and missed the game but made it home safe vs. making to the game and getting caught in a riot and the ensuing chaos and danger.
