This is our stove. The grates used to resonate loud which bothered us while driving.

I did two things to eliminate the irritation.
1) bend/spread the grates a little open so they are snug inside the alignment holes.
In our rig, the stove is recessed into the counter top. We place the flush counter-top covers on for extra counter space for doing dishes and such, so the covers are on soon after cooking. As part of the ritual, we drop on this silicone rubber pot holder thingy bought at Walmart to eliminate any extra resonating noises.

Between the two, the various stove noises while driving are all gone.
