We stay at Mesa Spirit, and it is very easy from here to get to the games, especially on the east side of Phoenix. New stadium for the Cubs in Mesa, easy to get to Scottsdale for both Giants and Diamondback games, as well as Tempe and Phoenix (though I can't remember which teams are playing at those stadiums this year) - actually as long as you aren't trying to get around loop 101 during rush hour even the west side of the valley isn't difficult to get to.
