Bay St Louis, MS

We love the buffet at Silver Slipper. We usually stay at their RV park so it's a short hop to the casino. If you love seafood, crab nights on Friday and Saturday night are great.

Thanks! We used to go to the coast a lot when my aunt was living in Ocean Spring. After she passed away and Katrina came through, we have not been back much.

The Silver Slipper Casino buffet is the only one I know of that serves Funnel Cakes.

Bay St Louis WAS a beautiful, wonderful little town, until
it was " Katrina-ed". They are rebuilding, almost from
'scratch', and it will be fine again. Trapani's, downtown
on the waterfront street has been rebuilt.......VERY good.
The R V Park is also good, but oaks.....a shuttle bus passes
frequently to take you to the casino, or call and it will
come to get you.....or, walk.....it's not far. When you
arrive get a gambler's card (no gambling required) for
lowered prices at the buffet.

Thanks! I'm putting these on my list...Biloxi used to have a great restaurant-McElroy's, but not sure if they rebuilt after Katrina. My very favorite was Vrazeale's in Gulfport--their trout almondine was absolutely wonderful! But someone told me they closed.

Never been to Bay St Louis, but I'm attending a conference at the Hollywood casino, so we're staying in their RV park.

I cannot remember the name of the restaurant but it is in Biloxi on Hwy 90. We ate upstairs on the backporch outside looking at the gulf. The food was very good, reasonably priced and the beer was cold. Enjoy.

Absolutely. Don't let the outsides of the places run you off. If you do you'll miss a real treat at either.
