- dodge_guyExplorer IIThere is a very nice campground just before there called Perry’s RV Park and Campground in Red Lodge. Stay there overnight and then hit the road the next day and drive all the way into Cooke City, then turn around and head back. The next day you can drive around the east side to Cody WY and head into the park that way. Yes it’s the long way around, but the Beartooth hwy is not to be missed!
- southernskyExplorerBeen on it a few time and have seen small campers and C's but not big rig friendly. If your pulling a GD 369, no way. I think there is a length limit.
- katlemanExplorerI’ve driven it three times, twice in a 24’ Class C, so yes I have seen RVs on that road.
Yes it’s a lot of turns and drop offs, but with liberal downshifting, it’s not that challenging for someone with mountain driving experience. - Second_ChanceExplorer IIIt's a US highway, but with 22 miles of 6 - 8% grades and 10, 15, and 20 MPH hairpin turns (per the Mountain Directory), you won't find me on it.
