Taking the family on a weeks vacation to Atlanta in August. Looking for campground advise. I would like seomwthing that feels like a campground and not just a parking lot. Thanks

About 48 minutes east of Atlanta is Hard Labor Creek State Park.
Offers horseback riding, golf, kayaking, etc. plenty of trees and no parking lot effect.
