Best Oceanfront campground in Myrtle Beach??

We're planning our first big camping trip and are leaning toward Myrtle Beach. We've heard great things about Pirateland. Any thoughts or suggestions vs. Lakewood or any others nearby?

Wouldn't mind hearing from any of you on your suggestions for other waterfront parks on the east coast.

    Our favorite is Myrtle Beach Travel Park. We have been going there for 40 years. Great location, nice choice of sites, e.g. on the ocean, on the lake, in the woods, etc. lazy river, indoor & outdoor pool, store on premises - close to W.M. and local attractions.
