best RV Park in Quartzsite

So my wife and I had planned on Boondocking in Quartzsite, but now friends want to join us, and THEY need hookups, especially electric due to their residential fridge. As all the RV parks there seem pretty inexpensive, we have decided to join them in one of the parks for the month of February. We're looking for opinions on the ones to stay at, and the ones to avoid. Thanks!
  • Doesn't he have a generator? Or he could buy his solar panels in Quartzsite! :)

Boondocking in Quartzsite is much better than a RV park.
  • Quail Run RV Park. Just north of I-10 on west side of road. Completely redone about 5 years ago. Sites have room and if you are a large rig there is plenty of room to navigate. If you are going in prime time, they could be full.
  • We liked Kofa mountain RV park very near the intersection. It is small. About 40 spots with about a 50/50 split between RV spots and park models. It’s been a few years since we stayed there and the owners have changed but we stayed there several different years. Another we like is the Arizona sun RV park. We use it for a one or two night stay when passing through the area.
  • Best spot in Q is anyplace about 40-50 miles away! JMHO
  • Did you bring your oil/filter? We changed our oil on their oil change facility. How about their pressure washer as it's a long way from MI?

And the best by far - they are close to Smilley Al's which has cold beer and great pizza. Enjoy.

Q is our stop over and we were there last night. Did I mention the cold beer and great pizza?

We're planning a week in Jan with our Roadrunners club!

Update: OK Silly Al's where everyone smiles! Thanks for the correction.
  • Not going to find "Smilley Al's pizza in Q.

You will find Silly Al's pizza. The pizza and beer is rally good

Not going to change my oil. That's what they pay lube techs for, but we'll definitely need that pizza and beer :) Thanks!
