Is a visit to Quartzsite worth our time

O THAT place... Thats a business? We stumbled across that almost 10 years ago looking around LaPosa.. What a lucky find... :)

We stayed there a year ago this January. I don't remember the name of the RV park. It was very small, had full hookups and nothing but dirt to park on. It was in need of a lot of maintenance. We go every year and have a great time socializing with all the friendly RVers and checking out all the latest and greatest RV related items.
Also, the pizza at Silly Al's is the best we have ever had anywhere. We eat there every time we are in Quartzsite.

I go every year that I'm in AZ. that time of year

If it is luxury RV parks you want Q is not the place to go. If you hate boon docking and despise the desert, by all means avoid it. If lots of friendly people relaxing and enjoying themselves is not your cup o' tea, stay away. If conserving water and minimizing the use of electric while off the grid doesn't start your juices flowing go almost anyplace else. You won't be part of the friendly people enjoying them selves anyway so who wants you there?

There is a few parks on E Kuehn. They are pretty sparse.

Been there - done that - won't be back.

Last year we stayed in a (for lack of a better term) RV park south of town for 5 days. Not impressed.
