Best Yosemite location
Last time we stayed at Mariposa KOA Are Bass Lake or Groveland better locations - looking a the map Mariposa is the shorter distance to Yosemite Village

Upper Pines Campground in the valley is our favorite and open this time of year. Here is the count of sites that can accommodate a 35' rig. About 25% of the campground. I've camped there in November before Thanksgiving week and maybe half the campground was occupied.
Also, if you go, do the Sunday brunch at the hotel. A really great experience!
