We were just there in April. If you get a site that is off the sea wall then the wind is not bad at all. The sites on the sea wall allow you to sit and look down on the beach (about an 8-10 drop from sea wall to beach). We were lucky that nobody had the sites on the seawall in front of us so we took our lawn chairs and sat on the seawall and enjoyed the waves. If you like seafood, go the the Flagler Fish Company for dinner (I believe that is the name). Do not be fooled by the looks of the place, awesome food!!! I am not a seafood fan but I had the swordfish and it was delicious, my wife had to have the Alaskan King Crab. A little pricey, but a hidden gem for great food.
