- rhagfoExplorer IIIBest chances start looking about nine months and a week before you want to be there. Then be on your computer at about 10 minutes to midnight and have the request ready to the last click. Best of luck to get the spot you want.
- goducks10ExplorerJMO but we really like the pull thru spots in G loop. You get some sun during the day and most are long.
We don't care for B loop. Stayed in B loop twice. If it's cloudy or cooler it will be worse in B loop. Thick trees. Also it can be quite windy as the wind comes in off the beach under the bride directly at B loop. - BayleyExplorerThanks for the responses.....I'm going to try for reservations for the end of July 2019. Hopefully I'm lucky enough to land one!!
- ksg5000ExplorerThe Oregon State Park reservation system is pretty good and each site has a decent description of length etc. I didn't go this year because some of my favorite sites were near construction of bridges etc and it maybe a good idea to get an update on whether construction is still going on.

Great place - Biggest problem is getting a reservation during the summer. Do it early!
Even in February we encountered a sold out weekend - you have to realize that the Oregon coast is mild year round and there for popular - we have spent two winters on the Oregon coast
That is the weekend of the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. This coming February it is the 21st to 24th. Both Beverly Beach and South Beach SP will be full, they open all loops for that week. - rhagfoExplorer III

Nice park, but just keep in mind that Highway 101 is between the park and the beach.
True, but access is under the large bridge over the creek, no dealing with traffic! - StarkNakedExplorer IINice park, but just keep in mind that Highway 101 is between the park and the beach.

- Earl_EExplorerYou won't have any problems as long as you pay attention to the site lengths.
