- VeebyesExplorer IIHave fun. I'll bet it will be an experience that you will either want to do again or say "Never again".
Bluegrass festival fan here but have done one big one, Grey Fox, in upstate NY. That one had something like a 30,000 attendance. Camping out in a hayfield. Walk to the main stage took 20 minutes.
Been there, done that. Never again. You are jammed in like sardines. Everyone uses up to their last inch of allocated space.
For Dover you might take a look at Killens Pond SP about 20 min S. A really nice CG & an oasis of sanity away from the festival. - DelawareCamperExplorercan't fit into Killens,, we're just over 40 ft,,

At just under 36' LOA there are quite a few that we can just fit. There are a couple, most likely listed for smaller that a 40'er could fit, provided you don't mind hanging beyond the official site & unable to use stabilizers.
Oh well...worth a suggestion. Have fun at Dover. We have a few bluegrass festivals, a Scottish Highlands Games, an Irish Festival & the Norfolk Tattoo lined up this summer finishing off with a few days at Killens.
Can't wait to get moving. - DelawareCamperExplorerWe go to Trap Pond a lot, but mostly Seashore State Park,,,, we understand that next year Lums Pond will have full hookups at all the sites,,,
