It also sounds to me that BLM is trying to rid itself of the hassle of managing this site. But any organization willing to take it over will will want to be compensated for it (fees). So I think BLM should do what we taxpayers have been paying them to do...continue to manage it as a dispersed camping area.

High Plains Drifter and X2- glad to see your response here- I hope you will both also call or email the BLM at the address in the original post and urge them to keep the site as BLM dispersed camping. Posting on the forum may make us all feel good but contacting hte BLM is the action that will have a real effect.
