obviously there are people on this forum whose reading compression skills are pretty low.
This is NOT some private boondocking spot. It is used by about 30 RV's, trailer, and tent campers a night all summer long. On the weekends it may have 50 camps set up with several people in each camp. There are large private RV parks on the river but as far as camps on public land It is by far the busiest camp on the river. Personally I have not used it in a year or more.
Transferring lands from Federal to State control is a VERY BIG DEAL in the western states. As a resident of this state I would actually get some small benefit from state control- it is those from out of state who would be losing more than I would.
I am not advertising anything and to post something on a boondocking thread about loss of an extremely popular boondocking site used by thousands of people a year seems to me to not be creepy but in fact to be the point of having a forum like this.
For those who want to keep boon docking sites out west I hope you will contact the BLM. For those who disagree I respect your opinion too.
For some clown to tell me that if I don't agree with his personal opinion I should stay home- well I guess I already responded to that.
