If it applies to all federal lands, then it might be a good idea. But, there will always be a way for it to be used against us in the future. I do agree that something needs to be started, just not sure what.
We fell in love with boondocking last year on our first trip to the Northwest (WA, OR, NV, AZ) by not having humidity, mosquitoes, no-see-ums & lightning to deal with. We're already planning on going back next year and this reduction of boondocking opportunity is concerning. A friend of ours in OR is active in working with/against the FS regarding usage of ORV's on the sand dunes there but told us of other places where the freedoms of "the good ole days" are being lost.
