My main complaint besides the way I feel the manager handled the whole thing is that they had summer rates for 2015 posted and what I filled out the reservation based on. Then to tell me that the rates for them have not been confirmed. Why have them on the website of they are not confirmed? Why would I make reservations if I didn't know what the price was going to be? I have no doubt it's a great place. It looks wonderful in the pictures and videos. But I am losing some distrust in it. If I'm gonna pay 3-4 times the amount of a state park there (and I know there is no comparison in amenities), then I want to be able to feel good about the whole situation. We really wanted a waterfront site and was thinking of taking advantage the week special (7th night free). As i told the manager, we will just cancel our tentative reservation and might check back later. I don't know why they would even discuss it if they when which site, when and for how much. Just put a statement on the site that reservations will not be made (tentative or otherwise) until March for the summer.
