I'd say yes to floating and cocktails, depending on how much wind is occurring. You'll see.
Mangrove snapper is good eating. No season that I'm aware of, but there is a size limit.
The first time we were there, I noted a juvenile barracuda hanging out by our dock. It took a good bit of patience, but I was able to catch him with live bait. Threw him back to grow bigger and give someone else a thrill.
To be honest, there are better places to fish than BWK, but the fact is you can fish there and occasionally get lucky.
