book on Yellowstone?

Can anyone recommend a good book relating to camping at Yellowstone NP?

  • Geysers of Yellowstone by Scott Bryan. Not about camping but well worth having when you visit. My most used Yellowstone guidebook.
  • Thanks for the comments. I'll put them to good use. I did fine Yellowstone Treasures on Amazon. It's a 2013 publication (reprint). Looks good.
  • We have found the "Roadside Geology of ....." to be an excellent series.

    Roadside Geology of Yellowstone

Won't necessarily help you find a good camping spot, but will certainly give you good information about the area you are visiting.
  • Not camping related but a good book to read before visiting is `Tracking the Spirit of Yellowstone' by a former ranger.
  • Yellowstone Treasures is a great book for road info, wildlife info and just great info about the park. I got it from Amazon. Also contact the National Park itself...HERE
    since they are the experts!

Hundreds of pages on here if you do a search. Know of no book dedicated to camping
