There's something in this even more insidious than the obvious loss of RV camping spots: Why sold to FOREIGN companies .... I'm agin' "foreign ownership" of U.S. land that was previously public land .... I guess I'm too old fashioned. Maybe leasing to foreign interests .... but NEVER, NEVER selling.
By the way, why should we presume that the supervisor of the forest has much/any influence on this? The orders to do so probably came from way above ... we need to go well above forest supervisor level for permanent action to stop this kind of "cost saving" baloney.
