Boondocking for a night around Hilton Head SC ?

We have friends who live at Hilton Head and would like to stop for a visit. They live in a condo and there is no where we could park the motor home there. Does anyone know of somewhere in the area we...

We just got back home from HH...we stayed at the Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort and Marina (just as you get on the island on Jenkins Rd)...boondocking isn't available and overnighting in a parking lot isn't allowed (saw lots of signs).
