JTExplorerOct 02, 2013Boondocking Hwy. 168 - Bishop, CASince the forest service (BLM, etc.) *campgrounds* are closed, does anyone have suggestions for boondocking locations along Hwy. 168 out of Bishop, CA? TIA.
profdant139Explorer IIOct 03, 2013Or maybe the Volcanic Tablelands, north of Bishop? The roads are probably pretty rough, but maybe better than Buttermilk?(I wonder if the washboard is why they call it Buttermilk -- it started as milk but then got churned up by the roads!!)
